MLLT has two GoGrit Freedom Chairs for public demonstrations.These manual, all-terrain wheelchairs designed by MIT engineers were funded by a grant from the Land Trust Alliance to increase accessibility of our natural areas. The chairs have a chain drive system are lever driven. The user can operate themselves, or a caregiver can assist with the handlebars.
